Health Promotion

As part of the medical center’s commitment to improving health and well-being, the office leads initiatives in health promotion, education, and service learning. By integrating education with hands-on service, our health promotion projects give students the opportunity to apply academic knowledge in real-world settings while addressing community needs.

Community member receives a blood pressure screening at an outdoor health fair while healthcare staff and attendees participate in activities at nearby tables.

The OACP collaborates with the community, faculty, and local stakeholders to strengthen and enhance community well-being through education, training, and engagement initiatives. Our faculty also hosts educational talk series, provides training in lifesaving skills, and offers health information and resources—empowering our neighbors to make informed decisions for healthier lives.
